Thailand Revisited

The beautiful Karen people.  A mother and daughter and a rice field. A couple of pictures from my last trip to Thailand.

The No Man's Land Project

In a world where communication is at our fingertips, there are still some stories unheard.

The Karen hill tribe in Myanmar (Burma) is fighting for their lives. Chased by the government & left with no where to go, the people are trapped in a small area on the border of Burma and Thailand. An area I call "No Man's Land." The Burmese government is destroying this hill tribe one village at a time.

The Karen people want their story told.  They want the world to know the the truth, because there is still hope.  I spent a year in northern Thailand in 2008-09.  I saw first hand the results of this war.

My primary goal is to use my videography/photography skills to create a documentary showing the story of the Karen, how they have survived under extreme conditions, and where they find hope for the future. I have developed enough contacts while in Thailand to conduct interviews, do research, and visually show what has occurred in this region of the world.

Their only hope is outside help. Recognition and action on our part.  The rest of the world needs to know so something can be done.

I am raising funds to go back and create this video project.  Please find it in your heart to donate to this cause.  My initial goal is $5000.  This would cover the cost of travel, food, living expenses, and the rest of the necessary equipment to shoot for 2 people.

Please donate to the making of this film to help tell their story. If interested in helping The No Man's Land Project, please contact me.
